  • How to Apply DTF Transfers

    Applying DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers is simple and ensures professional-quality results. Follow these easy steps:

    Materials Needed:

    • DTF transfer design
    • Heat press machine
    • Garment or fabric
    • Teflon sheet or parchment paper (optional for extra protection)

    Application Steps:

    Prepare the Garment:

    • Place the garment on a flat surface or heat press platen.
    • Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, and wrinkle-free.

    Position the Transfer:

    • Place the DTF transfer sheet design-side down on the garment.
    • Use heat-resistant tape if needed to secure the design in place.

    Set the Heat Press:

    • Temperature: 310–325°F (155–165°C)
    • Pressure: Firm pressure
    • Time: 10–15 seconds

    Press the Transfer:

    • Close the heat press and apply even pressure for the recommended time.
    • Make sure the heat press covers the entire design.

    Peel the Film:

    • Allow the transfer to cool slightly 
    • Gently peel the film away from the fabric.

    Repress (Optional) but do for durablity:

    • For extra durability, cover the design with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper and repress for 5–10 seconds.

    Care Instructions:

    • Wash inside out in cold water.
    • Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.
    • Tumble dry low or air dry for best results.
